Something for the weekend Sir?  Well how about this superb capsule collection brought to you by Weekend Offender and Leo Gregory (AKA Bovver from Green Street).

Now Green Street isn’t one of my favourite hooligan films, in fact I’ve always thought it was a bit naff, however it has to be said that Leo’s portrayal as Bovver was top draw, and so is this new collaboration.  Here’s what he had to say…

“I met the Weekend Offender crew a few years ago at one of their infamous in-store parties. Faces from the football world, actors, musicians and lot of booze later and I knew we’d do something together. I’d loved the brand and what it was about and stood for and now equally the team behind it.

A while down the line we spoke about the idea of doing a collaboration for a tee. We agreed we felt people, our people, would respond well to it and did a little launch. What we hadn’t anticipated was the enormous response to it which in turn led to other colour drops and sold amazingly well for over a year (how along ago did we launch?)

During this period I’ve become more heavily involved with the company and good friends with the team who are like my brothers and sisters now.

This has all led us as a team and you guys as supporters of the brand and myself to this exciting point of the next collaboration we bring to you. Time to get involved”.

The collection itself is a super cool concoction of top notch terrace wear including shower resistant jackets, cotton sweats and tees.  The pick of the bunch for me is the Signature jacket in navy which features a DWR shower resistant coating, two spacious pockets and a removable Velcro prison logo with the Leo Gregory signature underneath it, smart or what?  The badge can also be affixed inside the jacket for safe keeping.

There’s also a short film featuring Leo himself starring alongside former Spurs top boy turned MMA fighter Dante Hawkins.  I reckon it’s better than Green Street, so be sure to take a look here.  The signature collection went live at 6pm last night, so head over to the Weekend Offender website and fill ya boots!
