Stone Island and New Balance have caused quite a stir with the announcement of their new long-term collaborative partnership. It remains to be seen when the first release will be unveiled to the world but one thing is for sure, it’ll sell like crack cocaine!
Here’s what Stone Island head honcho Carlo Rivetti had this to say:
“There are only a limited number of brands that can be referred to as iconic. Stone Island and New Balance have shown that they are of this breed. To exchange concepts and ideas by opening doors to each other’s R&D teams, with the aim to create a great sound product, is exciting and the greatest message we can jointly convey to our audiences.”
I love Stone Island more than any other brand in the world, but it has to be said that they’ve produced some pretty shit trainers over the years! Hopefully with NB back on board they should be able to seriously improve their trainer game.
P.S: Don’t try smoking crack cocaine, apparently it’s really moorish!
